ISO 14000 Environmental Certification.........
Many companies are looking at achieving this certification. However, companies using water in their industrial
processes are now faced with re-treating their effluent and to re-use thsi water in non-critical applications in
their processes. In many instances they need to still provide microbiologically safe water for re-use and
still meet environmental requirements. Easy with chlorine dioxide which operates at 0.5 ppm to 3 ppm residual
and its environmental toxicity of aquatic organisms ranges from 10 ppm to 100 ppm.

ACT 36 Registration...
BTC PRODUCTS received their first ACT 36 registration for HARVEST WASH as
a disinfectant for the washing of fruit. We are currently in the process of working
on a number of new Act 36 registrations.

3. ISO 9000 : 2000...
BTC PRODUCTS has registered with the SABS in order to obtain our ISO
listing. We are due to have our first audit in July 2003 with the
objective of reciving our full listing by end of 1st Quarter 2004.

ACT 29 Approval...
BTC PRODUCTS has just added Act 29 approval for its range of chlorine
dioxide products. We are able to supply a Ready To Use (RTU) Chlorine
Dioxide products which are stable for 31 days in terms of its
microbiological efficacy. This efficacy does not fall off instantaneously
after 31 days but slowly declines over a number of weeks.
