The Need For Sanitation
Bacteria, mold, mildew, fungi and yeasts are everywhere in our everyday environment. The condensate which
forms on the cooling coils, drip pan and duct work of air handling systems creates an ideal environment for the
growth of these microorganisms. When applied to a pre-cleaned system, OXINE AD is extremely effective in
reducing the harmful potential associated with this microbial contamination.
Superior Performance
OXINE AD has been proven effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria, mold, mildew and fungi. When
prepared according to label instructions, OXINE AD eliminates microorganisms of human health concern in
minutes or seconds, rather than the long contact times required with other sanitizing products.
Toxicity & Safety
The most significant feature of OXINE AD is the low toxicity and safety of the product. OXINE AD concentrate
has been assigned an acute toxicity rating of Category III by the EPA. This requires the OXINE AD to carry
only a precautionary statement of "Caution". By comparison, a Category I rating, denoting the highest
acute toxicity, requires a "Danger" statement, while a Category II rating requires a "Warning" statement.
Unlike other chemical products, OXINE AD does not leave an active chemical residue. After treatment,
OXINE AD quickly degrades to non-volatile compounds.
Application
OXINE AD is easily applied with the use of a hand held fogger or air driven sprayer. In either case, it is
important that a light mist of OXINE AD is transferred throughout the pre-cleaned system completely
covering the interior surface. Both commercial and residential air handling systems should be treated
regularly with OXINE AD to eliminate microbial growth.
